Building connections through shared meals in community cafes

Updated: Mar 11

When we get together for a café we always have food. It's nice to have something to fill our hungry stomachs, but it's more than that. Eating together is a way to build community with one another. Sharing a meal together makes it much more than just a meeting. It's a practice that can remind us of family meals or help us build new memories of human connection around the table.

We all come to a community café hungry. We long to not feel so alone. We are eager to hear real ideas that might make daily life easier. And we are relieved when we find others who share our struggles and circumstances.

So if you're hungry for more, come to a café. You're sure to be nourished here.
