What's a cafe like in person?Cafés are about 2 hours and always include food. We often talk at small tables with about four people. Questions guide our discussion. Our group norms help us make our time together meaningful and feel safe. Community Café participants must commit to the following in order to guarantee transformation and to keep our community safe.  Speak from your own experience.  Listen attentively.  No judgments, positive or negative.  Do not give advice.  Confidentiality.  No electronic presence (aka cell phones) at the table. Can I attend an online group if I don't live in Houston?Yes. While our cafés often meet in person, we sometimes meet online too. You'll miss out on the in-person community building by only attending online. But let's face it, when you're in the middle of it, we all will take any community we can get.
